Jessica was born and raised in Kelowna, BC. She graduated from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. She worked in Community Corrections for six years prior to making the move to beautiful Calgary. Jessica has previous work experience in mental health, addictions, recreation, and public libraries. In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, traveling, thrift shopping, and listening to live music. Jessica embraces our core value of Kindness by consistently offering a warm, compassionate approach to both her colleagues and clients, ensuring everyone feels supported in each interaction.

Kathleen was born and raised in Winnipeg. She continued her education at the University of Manitoba and graduated from The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in the Legal Assistant program in 2016. When she is not in office, she is busy with her husband and 2 young kids. In her spare time she enjoys going to Barre, Lagree, and loves to cook and bake. She embraces Ask Why – always improving processes, further educating herself and sharing information with her team members.

Sarah was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where she graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She recently moved back from the United Kingdom after completing her Bachelor of Laws degree (Honours) (LLB) at City University of London in 2024. Sarah is eager to qualify as a lawyer in the coming years and is excited to begin applying the knowledge she has gained from obtaining her law degree. In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring new cafes and bookshops and loves to check out new markets and events within the community! She also enjoys staying active, has recently started bouldering, and is excited to explore climbing gyms in Calgary. Sarah embraces our Core Value of “Empathy,” working primarily in social sectors with vulnerable groups and populations. She always ensures that her colleagues and clients are met with compassion and understanding.

Alex, born and raised in the United Kingdom, moved to Calgary and joined the Litco Law Business & Technology Services team in November 2018. Bringing with him 10 years of experience in business systems development and support, Alex was able to implement immediate changes into the core case management system to enable business wide efficiencies. Alex Owns It for the Litco team by coming up with creative solutions for problems they didn’t know they had. Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time with family and exploring their new life here in Calgary.

Rebecca was born in the Philippines and came to Canada at an early age. Prior to Litco Law, Rebecca has had experience in working in medical administration as well as over 10 years in customer care. She started travelling at a very young age which grew a huge passion for exploring the world and learning about different cultures. During her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, watching movies and snacking. Most of all she loves spending time with her family and friends. Rebecca embraces our core value of Kindness and Empathy – she ensures she treats everyone with a smile and respect because we never truly know what battles people are facing in their lives.

Esther was born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary. She studied Political Science with a minor in Applied Ethics at the University of Victoria. Before joining Litco Law, she worked with Parks Canada’s Knowledge Mobilization team, where she conducted policy research and analysis, contributing to projects that improved accessibility, clarity and consistency in regulatory processes. Outside of work, Esther enjoys exploring creative outlets such as crocheting, upcycling clothes, painting, or experimenting with new recipes. She also loves discovering new TV shows across different genres and is always on the lookout for her next favourite binge. Esther embraces our core values of Empathy and Ask Why by believing that true understanding comes from both seeing and hearing others while questioning assumptions. She is committed to fostering genuine connections and exploring diverse perspectives to provide meaningful support and innovative solutions.

Maheen was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, followed by a Legal Assistant Diploma from ABM College. Prior to becoming a legal assistant, Maheen worked in the healthcare industry in supervisory and administrative roles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, hiking, camping, and doing yoga. Maheen embraces our core value of Empathy by demonstrating active listening to improve communication and build strong relationships with others.

Cameron moved to Calgary after being born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. His passion for technology led him to pursue a Computer Science degree from the University of Calgary. He also holds a PMP designation. Cameron brings over 15 years of software development and technical project management to the team. He strives to bring together technology and people every day. While not working on building and implementing new technologies he can be found spending time with his wife and young daughter. You’ll also find him biking, swimming and running as he trains for triathlons. As someone that continually tries new things and understands successes come with some setbacks, he believes highly in our Don’t Blame core value.
