This year marks a milestone we’re extremely proud to celebrate: 50 years of Litco Law. Being in business for 50 years is a rare achievement, and one we’re deeply grateful to share with our community.
Since 1976, our firm has had the privilege of standing alongside Albertans during some of life’s most challenging moments. What started as a small, family-founded practice has grown into a family-led law firm serving communities across the province — and we couldn’t have reached this milestone without the trust, support, and belief of the people we serve.
This anniversary isn’t just about looking back. It’s about gratitude, community, and carrying forward the values that have shaped us for five decades.
Rooted in Family. Built on Trust.
Litco Law began in 1976 as Litwiniuk & Company, founded by Larry and Marianne Litwiniuk. From the beginning, the focus was simple: to provide legal support that’s built on care, trust, and doing right by Albertans.
Over time, the firm grew, and so did the family behind it. When their sons, Todd and Fred Litwiniuk, stepped into leadership, they carried those same values forward while modernizing how legal services are delivered. As the firm evolved, so did our name. Litco Law reflects who we are today — approachable, grounded in care, and built on trust.
Through every change, one thing has stayed the same: our commitment to showing up for our clients with heart.

Litco Law has never existed in isolation. We’re proud to be part of the Alberta communities we serve, from Calgary and Edmonton to Red Deer, Lethbridge, and beyond.
Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to support many local initiatives, partner with community organizations, and advocate for fairness and accountability in the legal system. Community isn’t a buzzword for us. It’s something we actively participate in, learn from, and give back to whenever we can.
