I’m a personal injury lawyer. I work out of our Edmonton and Red Deer offices. I’m originally from Red Deer. My wife and I now have an acreage outside of Ponoka. When people get hurt in motor vehicle accidents, they come see me and I help them navigate the legal process and make sure they get the compensation that they deserve. I entered law because I’ve always been drawn to problem-solving and helping people get through tough situations in life. When I graduated from my undergrad, I was working in downtown Calgary and I would bike to work and one morning I was biking to work and going downhill at a pretty good pace and I went through a green light and a truck turned left in front of me and I hit the truck, severed my neck, severed my wrist, was taken to the emergency room and I remember I didn’t know any lawyers at that time. I didn’t know what the process looked like. I remember getting calls from adjusters and I didn’t know what information to give, what kind of treatment I was entitled to. So when I did eventually retain counsel, they helped me navigate that. And now being a lawyer myself, I’m happy to help my clients navigate the process. So when I’m retained by a client, what they can expect is honesty, clear communication, and someone that truly cares about them getting the result they’re entitled to. What I value most about being a part of Litco Law is the culture of teamwork and A-players that show up every day wanting to do the best for our clients. So why I think clients should choose Litco Law is our clients aren’t just files to us. We treat them fairly and we want the best for them.
