I was born here, in Calgary, Alberta. Went to school out in Saskatchewan. Went to the U of S for law school. I practice in a number of areas primarily personal injury. Also, I deal with disability claims and employment claims, as well. My grandfather was a lawyer back in Saskatchewan. Growing up, I heard a lot of stories from him and it kind of led me into going into the field of law. And then, in terms of when I was in law school, what made me kind of move more into the client-facing aspect was just that desire to help people. Individuals are going through quite difficult times so it’s very personal. It’s had a big impact on their lives. And so what motivates me is to be able to assist them and guide them through this process. So recovering or focusing on their family, leaving the legal aspect to me and being able to guide them through that whole process. You’re going to get consistent updates and you’re also going to have a advocate in your corner and they’re going to be fighting to get you the best results at the end of the day. In terms of what they can expect, what they look forward to kind of goes for every lawyer here. It really goes back to the core purpose of balancing the power. When we’re with the clients, they’re up against a big insurance company. There’s an unfair balance. And so, being able to try to balance that power, putting them on the same level as that big insurance company or their employer. At the end of the day, being able to get them some compensation to make them whole. Those are the ones that stick out for me the most. Why should they choose Litco Law?
