My name is Abdi and I’m a case manager at Litco Law. I work in the personal injury side as well as disability and helping clients with their benefits and their insurance claims. The reason I entered law is I used to work in insurance previously and law felt like a natural fit for me. It gave me the opportunity to help clients and allowed me to use my knowledge in the insurance world to help people and that keeps me motivated. As a case manager, my job is to help clients navigate their claims, understand what’s going on, and get to a resolution, ultimately to get their settlement or benefits at the end of their claim. The thing I value most about being part of Litco is the culture here. We really have a culture that promotes growth internally. We have a great team that supports each other. Everybody is ready to do the work and we’re very client focused and I really appreciate that. When someone works with me, they can expect me to support them along the way and provide them with detailed assistance. I had a client with a claim where there was no insurance. He had some injuries and there were difficulties navigating the benefits process and we were able to help him outside of the usual scope in terms of the property damage claim, get him those benefits that I don’t believe he would have been able to obtain without us, and ultimately get him to a positive outcome on both of the claims. Clients should choose Litco Law because we really care about helping people. Motor vehicle accidents can be very overwhelming. The insurance process is very complicated and we have the expertise to take that off of their plates, letting them focus on getting better while we take care of the rest. I think that creates an easier process for them.
