One slip and fall accident case that really sticks out in my mind is a slip and fall on ice and snow in a parking lot. This occurred at night at a large shopping centre here in Alberta in a disabled parking stall. The client had some mobility issues and due to the overhead lighting being out did not see the ice and snow and severely injured themselves. This was a case where the store owner, the contractor, and the maintenance company all completely denied any liability. But thankfully, after hiring our firm we were able to achieve a very meaningful result.
