Bio
April moved to Calgary from Ontario and joined the Litco team in August of 2021. At the time of joining the Litco team, she had recently graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Sociology. During her time at university, she particularly enjoyed learning about how the legal system interacts with society. Her previous work experience stems from the retail sector and telecommunications where she uncovered her passion for extending help to others. In her spare time, April enjoys reading, meditating, watching crime documentaries, and exploring the city of Calgary as a new resident! April closely identifies with Litco’s core value of Kindness by ensuring that everyone feels listened to and always trying to make them smile with her enthusiastic and upbeat attitude.

Nati was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He completed his undergraduate degree in Accounting at MacEwan University during spring of 2021. Alongside Nati’s passion for learning, he loves to play sports and read novels. His youthful spirit and positive energy is extremely infectious. Nati embraces our core value of kindness by always ensuring that the people around him are treated with compassion, care, and respect.

Karsten grew up in Peace River, AB before moving to Calgary to study at the University of Calgary where he attained a B.Sc. with a major in Geology. After a career in Oil & Gas and Mining he decided to make a transition into technology which was something that has always interested him. After completing a Software Development program at Bow Valley College, he started at Litco in September 2020. In his free time, he enjoys staying physically active and spending time with his dog, Prim. Karsten identifies with the core value “Ask Why” asking the right questions on how he can use his technical skills to improve overall efficiencies for the company.

Kristina was born and raised in Edmonton, AB. She has previous work experience at a high-volume Dodge Dealership where she specialized in client satisfaction and internal advising, before deciding to go back to school to complete the Legal Assistant course at Sundance College in 2022. In her free time, she likes to get out on long distance trail races or spend the weekend in the mountains with her two dogs: Saurous and Luna. Kristina embodies our core value of empathy by ensuring that each customer receives the care and understanding that everyone deserves.

Charmaine was born and raised in the Philippines and earned her bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management with honors in 2015. Following graduation, she dedicated herself to an extensive career in the hospitality sector, accumulating over eight years of experience. At the age of 26, she decided to embark on a new chapter and relocated to Calgary. She enrolled at The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), majoring in Travel and Tourism, and graduated in November 2023. Ready for fresh challenges, she seized the opportunity to join Litco Law as a Client Care Specialist. In her leisure time, she indulges in binge-watching TV series, reading, dining out, and traveling. She also has a keen interest in capturing moments through photography. Charmaine deeply resonates with our Core Value of Own It, believing that personal accountability paves the way for success in all aspects of life.

When she’s not working, Amanda can be found spending time with her daughters, traveling, shopping, attending concerts, and cheering on the New York Yankees. She completed a professional diploma in Human Services and spent the last 5 years supporting clients with special needs. She enjoys movies, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She hopes to expand her list of countries visited over the next few years with her husband and daughter. Nicole embraces our core value of Empathy and Kindness by ensuring that every interaction she has with someone makes them feel appreciated, heard, and safe. Emma was born in Vancouver and raised in Calgary. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary, where she developed a strong foundation in communication and client-centered support.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting outdoors whenever she can, and hosting frequent game nights.
