What is Workplace Discrimination in Alberta?

Video Transcript

Workplace discrimination occurs when an employee is either treated unfairly or terminated. And that termination or that unfair treatment is related to a protected ground under the Alberta Human Rights Act. That can include mental or physical disability, gender, age, race, those types of things. If you feel like you’ve faced discrimination at work, you can reach out to us. We can evaluate the situation and we can provide advice on what to do going forward.
